Abstract

SAOSHYANT – SALVATORUL ZOROASTRIAN AL OMENIRIITextele antice avestice au păstrat mitul despre Mântuitorului lumii, născut din Fecioară. În mitologia escatologică iraniană Saoshyant înseamnă salvator al omenirii. În Persia antică a existat o credinţa despre un Mântuitor (sau mai mulţi Mântuitori), care, la sfârşitul timpului, va lua parte la Judecata de Apoi, va distruge răul, îi va învia pe cei drepţi şi de dragul nemuririi lor va pune capăt istoriei lumii, oferind jertfa de ispăşire (taur sacru).SAOSHYANT ZOROASTRIAN SAVIOR OF HUMANITY Ancient Avestan texts preserved the myth of the Savior of the world, born of the Virgin. Saoshyant is in Iranian mythology eschatological savior of mankind. In ancient Persia, there was a belief about one Savior (or several Redeemer), who at the end of time will take part in the Last Judgment, destroy evil, resurrect the righteous for their immortality and put an end to the history of the mankind offering the atoning sacrifice of sacred bull.
