Algorithm for reconstruction images obtained by a holographic camera based on the Fast Fourier Transform
Abstract
In this work, a prototype of a holographic camera was developed that allows for the determination of the location and linear dimensions of volumetric defects in semiconductor materials. For the efficient operation of the holographic camera, in addition to optimizing the optical scheme, an algorithm was developed to accelerate the process of reconstructing digital holograms, since the significant amount of holographic data obtained requires a significant increase in the performance of processing holographic images. The developed algorithm bases on a fast Fourier transform with a mixed radix, which allows increasing the reconstructing time of digital holographic images by more than two times compared to standard algorithms.
