Abstract
Departure of talented faculty from pharmacy academia warrants open reflection and discussion. Education leaders who can positively impact pharmacy faculty career trajectories may also find this account insightful. Concepts from the Indigenous research paradigm, specifically epistemology where knowledge is relationship, relationality, relational accountability, and research as reconciliation can offer faculty that leave the academy the opportunity to continue as educators through continued relationship with learners. An extraordinary opportunity for collaboration is upon us through the potential for enhanced discourse between pharmacy academia, health-systems, and the profession writ large.
