Cost and operational parameters of choosing cargo vehicles

Abstract

The authors consider the problem of choosing a rolling stock on the basis of cost and natural parameters at delivering goods by automobile transport. The relevance of this question is justified by comparing effectiveness of functioning single board automobile and board articulated truck during delivery of friable construction goods in urban environment. The authors have determined delivery in tons, cost of transportation, prime cost of transportation of 1 ton and 1 ton-kilometers.
