La réinterprétation du patrimoine vestimentaire à l'ère de la mondialisation

Abstract

Dans les années 1960, le monde de la mode a pris un tournant spectaculaire ; commençant par l’explosion d’un prêt-à-porter de masse, pour arriver à une universalisation indomptable du vêtement. L’exubérance et la luxuriance des costumes traditionnels ont cédé la place pour le minimalisme et le monde vestimentaire s’est permis des inédits transcendants. Cette décennie révolutionnaire, en termes de la mode, a fait également exploser le mouvement de réinterprétation vestimentaire. C’est une procédure de création qui vise à innover et actualiser un vêtement traditionnel, à la recherche d’une union particulière entre le patrimoine vestimentaire et la création contemporaine. Dans la présente étude, nous essayons d’éclaircir les différents aspects de ce concept contemporain, qui entretient un rapport complexe et épineux avec la notion de "tradition". - In the 1960s, the world of fashion took a spectacular turn; starting with the explosion of ready-to-wear, to reach an indomitable universalization of clothing. The exuberance and luxuriance of traditional costumes gave way to minimalism. Thus, the clothing world has allowed itself transcendent novelties. This revolutionary decade, in terms of fashion, also exploded the movement of reinterpretation of clothing. It is a creative process that aims to innovate and update a traditional garment, in search of a particular union between the clothing heritage and contemporary creation. In the present study, we try to clarify the different aspects of this contemporary concept, which has a complex and thorny relationship with the notion of "tradition".
