Thin-layer chromatography as a method of control furan compounds in transformer oil

Abstract

Thin-layer chromatography is one of the most common methods for the determination of furan derivatives in transformer oils. The article suggested improvement in the method by the use of thin-layer plates based on zeolite materials and a variety solvents with different physical and chemical properties.
