Hydatid cyst of the middle mediastinum complicated by fistulated ascending aorta: A case report and review of the literature

Abstract

Abstract Clinicians must pay attention to the clinical presentation and consequences of hydatid cysts in rare sites. Cysts close to the aorta require planning and assistance of a cardiac or vascular surgeon before surgical intervention can be considered.
