eoi/doi Deposit-Electronic Object Identifier http://eoi.citefactor.org/10.11248/ehum.v9i1.1850 Resumo: Esta pesquisa incide, no âmbito geral, sobre a reconfiguração do papel simbólico da arquitetura nos museus e edifícios culturais, com foco em seus desdobramentos e alterações arquitetônicas. Tenciona analisar a atratividade criada nesses espaços, enquanto locais que abrigam produções e representações culturais, além de avaliar a articulação das instituições culturais com questões de poder, representação e consumo cultural na sociedade, questionando a predominância e surgimento desses espaços culturais, nos diferentes momentos espaço-tempo arquitetônico. Palavras-chave: Museu; Arquitetura; Cultura; Abstract:This research focuses on the general scope of the reconfiguration of the symbolic role of architecture in museums and cultural buildings, focusing on its development and architectural changes. Will analyze the attractiveness created these spaces as places that house productions and cultural representations, and to evaluate the articulation of cultural institutions with issues of power, representation and cultural consumption in society, questioning the prevalence and emergence of these cultural spaces, in different times space architectural -time.
