Status of the training process of the General Comprehensive Stomatology specialist in Santiago de Cuba

Abstract

An observational, descriptive and cross-sectional epidemiological study was carried out in the Stomatology Faculty of the municipality of Santiago de Cuba during the April-May examination of the state examination of the year 2017, in order to determine the current state of the training process of the General Stomatology specialist Integral in Santiago de Cuba. The universe consisted of 33 residents examined in this call, which were examined by a total of seven courts, using variables such as: quality of specialty completion work, practical exercises; and the preparation of the clinical history, to obtain the data, empirical methods were used, such as observation during practical exercises, presentation and defense of specialty completion work, review of documents such as resolutions and residence plan of study, as well as a survey of the examining courts.
