Design of Planar Reflector Antennas

Abstract

A design of single and folded reflector antennas is presented. Wefocus in the use of an optimization during the design process. Incomparison to existing papers, possibility of realization of foldedantenna at X band frequencies is demonstrated. Further more, anoriginal procedure of phase center extraction of antennas and scattersis described. The procedure is applied in the design of simplereflector antenna incorporating a non-hyperbolic, electrically smallreflector.
