Memoría y Política: Movimientos de Derechos Humanos y Construcción Democrática

Abstract

RESUMEN: Los derechos humanos y el movimiento social nucleado en torno a ellos, que han venido ocupando un lugar central en Argentina desde finales de los 70, constituyen el campo de análisis de este artículo. Lo peculiar -a la vez que sugerente- de este trabajo, es el aspecto espectrwo de atencián; pues se trata de descubrir las relaciones que, manifestadas en el accionar del movimiento social en la dictadura y en la democracia, se dan entre su rol político y su rol de reivindicacián de la memoria colectiva, entre el pragmatismo político y las demandas de no-olvido basadas en valores éticos de verdad y justieia. La perspectiva, que pudiera parecer abstracta, tiene una extensa base documental y conlleva conclusiones eminentemente prácticas.ABSTRACT: Since the arad of the 70's the human rights and the social movement around them have been very important in Argentina. This article analyses them particulary trying to discover the relations mantfested in the move of the social movement along the dictatorship and democracy, between its political role arul its role to claim the colective memory, between the political pragmatism and the claims of non forgetfulness found on the ethnic values of truth and justice. The perspective, altrough it could be seen to be abstract, has a vast documentary base and gives conclusions highly practical.
