The "Internet of Things" (IoT) is a complex phenomenon that lacks autonomous regulation. Its hybrid nature, comprised of an amalgam of technology, economics and law, poses sui generis problems, since it is not easily accommodated in a specific normative sector, which represents a regulatory challenge that must be addressed. This is precisely the subject of the Internet of Things, by Moisés Barrio Andrés, a rigorous and exhaustive monograph that tackles both the substantive technological aspects and the challenges posed by its disruptive quality from a legal perspective.
