CRONOLOGIA CONSTRUCTIEI EUROPENE SI PRINCIPALELE EI INSTITUTII

Abstract

The article presents both a synopsis of the European Union’s evolution, as well as anattempt to reflect this evolution conceptually. The paper tries to underline the mostimportant moments of EU construction, beginning with the 1950’s until the presentmoment. The second part of the paper presents the five institutions which constitute thefoundation of the present day organizational structure in the European Union: TheEuropean Parliament, The European Commission, The Council of the European Union, TheEuropean Court of Justice, The European Court of Auditors.
