The paper presents a concept for the application of Balanced Scorecard in hotel management processes. The paper also introduces the characteristics of BSC: its genesis, perspectives and measurers used within this tool. Further the authors discuss the impact of characteristic features of the hotel industry and touristic product, which have to be taken into account when creating a BSC for a hotel.
