Eastern Wielkopolska Inhabitants’ Contribution to the Development of the Education in Poland in the First Half of the 20th Century. Chosen Cases

Abstract

Every region of Poland can be proud of various respectable figures who in the special way made a contribution to the local community, as well as became known in the whole territory of Poland. They made a contribution in different fields including educational one. It cannot be a surprise that Eastern Wielkopolska can also boast about the individualities who in the first half of the 20th century influenced significantly the shape of Polish education. Those people were: Wanda Haberkantówna, Stefania Sempołowska, Sławomir Czerwiński and Władysław Przanowski.
