Phraseological Dilemma: Two Components Structure and/or Autosemantics?

Abstract

The paper discusses the two component as one of the important determinants of the phrasemes. That iswhy the constructions treated differently in the phraseological literature are the main topic of this paper.Particular emphasis is placed on forms that do not meet the general criterion that phrasemes must haveat least two autosemantic words, but fully comply with the other requirements set before them by thedefinition of the phrasemes. The contemporary Bosnia and Herzegovina literature and the wider SouthSlavic literature are considered. Related to the indicated problem, the key question is whether structuralor semantic aspect of the considered construction should be given advantage.
