With a purpose of the minimum gear tooth width and the smallest planetary gear train volume,a fuzzy reliability of system-level optimization method is proposed to solve problems of the short life and insufficient flexibility of electric wheel planetary gear train of the mining dump truck.Considering the uncertainty and ambiguity of an optimization process affect the reliability of the electric wheel planetary gear train,a system-level optimization model is established for the target coupling variable,system design variable and global shared variable.According to load level,degree of environmental,technologic level and operation cycle of the electric wheel planetary gear train of the mining dump truck,the weight set of fuzzy set theory is established.Before drawing a conclusion of fuzzy weight vector,an integrated evaluation of factors that affect the reliability of the planetary gear train and constructs fuzzy evaluation matrix is presented.A fuzzy reliability system-level optimization method is used for the narrowest gear tooth width and the smallest planetary gear train.The result shows that,with the optimal solution for the fuzzy reliability system-level optimization method,the reliability of the system is raised,the volume of the mining dump truck planetary gear train is reduced and the planetary gear train is more compact.An example of electric wheel planetary gear train of a mine car is taken to prove that the method is available.
