Abstract

In this paper the purpose is to answer a few questions such as, for example: the cult of Mars in Africa is or is not interested in phenomena of syncretism or assimilation? Is there a chronological density of dedications and is devotion to Mars still linked to military camps? And finally, is the nature of the venerated Mars still unique?
