Le Brigate scaligere. Usi della storia, dinamiche identitarie e immaginario degli ultras dell’Hellas Verona

Abstract

The paper analyzes the case of the ultras of Verona and specifically the use made by them of history and its relevance for the identity of the group. Specifically, after an introduction that contextualises the birth of the ultras movement and the history of Verona’s ultras, the use that the Veronese have made of History is being investigated to strengthen the link with the context of origin and its tradition, to show one’s political and nonconformist ideology, to build a specific collective memory and affirm a specific imaginary.
