Russian Army, EMERCOM and Federal National Guard Troops Service in the Arctic: issues of security and international cooperation

Abstract

The article is focused on the activities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the Federal National Guard Troops Service to ensure defense and security in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. Particular attention is drawn to ongoing activities on the arrangement of military and rescue infrastructure, the protection of public order, important state facilities in the Arctic region
