(DES)CAMINHOS DO SINDICATO DOS PROFESSORES DA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE MINAS GERAIS
Abstract
The study analyses the changes put into work in the Union of Federal University Teachers of the cities of Belo Horizonte and Montes Claros [Sindicato dos Professores de Universidades Federais de Belo Horizonte e Montes Claros] (APUBH), since its disaffiliation of National Union of Higher Education Teachers [Sindicato Nacional dos Docentes das Instituições de Ensino Superior](ANDES-SN), in a context of capitalism expansion and crisis. Grounded in literature and documentary reviews, it allow us to verify that the syndicalism of APUBH in the period of 2004 to 20006 denotes bureaucratization, welfare, management tendencies and interinstitutional policies against the collective organization and the mobilization of the category in favor of the improvement of the work conditions and relationships; and the ratification of the advance of state-managerial threats to university teachers, and in last instance, to the Brazilian working class in general.
