Forms and Particularities of Physical Abuse Committed by Parents Against Children

Abstract

This article aims at describing the main forms and characteristics of them physical abuse committed by parents against their children in Romania. To this end, we present several case studies carried out during a more ample research conducted by the Institute of Sociology in the framework of the National Research and Development Plan (PN II), the "Ideas" program.
