The Web is characterized by an extraordinary diversity, both among its users, as well as its forms and content. In its thirty-year history it has become a very popular and important element of the modern world, which increases interest among researchers in various fields. Despite the fact that more and more information is being published on the Web, a large part of it is being turned into another or irretrievably lost. The remedy for this may be the Web Archive, developed since the mid-1990s, which allows the collection and maintenance of the Network's resources. The article discusses the extent to which the used methods, solutions and strategies will enable securing diversity occurring in the Web.
