La vejez, patrimonio inmaterial de la humanidad Elderly, an inmaterial world heritage
Abstract
La vejez es una realidad que suele ser rechazada por los que aún no han llegado a ella y, a menudo, mal vivida por los propios ancianos. En nuestra época, se ha puesto de manifiesto una recuperación por el interés que el anciano despierta. Interés por su estudio y análisis pero no por su aprovechamiento vital como había sucedido secularmente a lo largo de la historia. En la actualidad, de revisión y de reivindicación constantes de diversos y múltiples patrimonios mundiales, es necesario apostar por el reconocimiento que la vejez debe tener como patrimonio inmaterial de la humanidad.Old age is often refused by those who are still young or adults, and usually, when people become old, they do not know how to make the most of this period of life and do not live it as well as they could. Nowadays, there has been a dramatic increase in the interest shown towards the elderly. This interest is related to the study and the analysis of the elderly, but not with its progress as it used to be through the history. At the moment, various and numerous World Heritages are being revised and claimed. That is the reason why it is necessary to go for the acknowledgement that old age should received as immaterial World Heritage.
