Basic Aspects of Studying Risk Factors for Respiratory Diseases in Infants and Preschool Children

Abstract

The represented review of literature enabled to identify the main factors influencing the development of di­seases in infants and preschool children. Knowledge of the various risk factors that contribute to the development of respiratory diseases allows more effectively to plan and to implement preventive and recreational activities in children. Implementation of a set of preventive measures aimed at preparing future parents for the birth of healthy children, work with families to promote healthy lifestyles and nutrition, parental involvement in the process of children’s health improvement, tempering, use of remedial gymnastics and massage, normalization of day regimen, as well as sanitation of chronic infections foci, treatment of comorbidities, application of immunotropic drugs, creation and implementation of health programs in preschool institution.
