Ependymomas with pituitary localization are very rare in the adult age group. As a matter of fact, to date, only 13 cases of pathologically confirmed pituitary ependymoma have been reported. This case report features a 57-year-old female who has been suffering from intermittent headaches for five years. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed a sellar mass. Patient operated through endoscopic transsphenoidal route. Pathological examination resulted as ependymoma. This is the 14th case report of sellar ependymoma in literature and the first one to demonstrate histopathological pituitary invasion of the tumor.
