With globalization, socio-territorial inequalities in countries worsened, affecting the quality of life and health of working children. I intend to contribute to the reflection on the subject, warning about the results observed in one aspect of the quality of life: the health of working children in the northeast of Argentina and Brazil. The aim is to illustrate the close association between territorial disparities, development and health in the years 2007-2017. I also seek to analyze whether child labor is included or discriminated against in that context. I used bibliographic contributions, reports from the actors involved. In Brazil, statistics are taken from: IBGE, Index of Municipal Human Development, Reference Center in Worker Health (CEREST). In Argentina, it goes to: Ministry of Labor of the Nation, CEPAL, PNUD and RENATRE. Although in different ILO and UN documents it is indicated that "development" is the policy to eradicate child labor, it is proven that Brazil has inter-ministerial statistics and policies of more than 20 years that are still insufficient in health, while Argentina has recently elaborated statistics for sustainable development in 2016 and the law on the worst forms of child labor is also approved.
