Much of the literature and the filmography of Edgardo Cozarinsky questions the identity, whether his own or of the other. Behind this problematic another question about the statute of a text, i.e. how much truth and how much fiction there is in the documents, antique photographs and historical texts is presented. Hence the following question: what can we learn about someone from documents of the past? Thus, Cozarinsky intertwines identities and fates, which at first glance could hardly cross. This is the case of the documentary-film BoulevardS du crépuscule. Sur Falconetti, Le Vigan et quelques autres… en Argentine where the cineaste ventures in the footsteps of these French immigrants. The investigation departs from two essential questions - who Falconetti and Le Vigan were and what they were doing in Argentina. The main purpose of crossing the fates of these two immigrants with the one of Cozarinsky himself gets revealed as this search develops.
