Theoretical basis and examples of ordination analysis for the training of restoration architects

Abstract

The article provides initial information about architectural ordination that can help identify systemic proportionality of forms in the architectural whole and its parts. Examples are given of how architectural ordinates can be used to detect regulating lines in the structure of vertical and horizontal divisions of façade forms, and recommendations are provided for determining the numerical value of the regulating proportion. A conclusion is drawn about the benefits of studying the theory and practice of architectural ordination in the architectural restoration course in universities.
