Învățarea pe tot parcursul vieții: de la concept la strategie pentru o societate și o economie a cunoașterii. România și Uniunea Europeană: un tablou statistic comparativ
Abstract
Lifelong learning has become an essential strategy for adapting to the complex demands of the knowledge economy. It helps individuals continuously develop their competencies and skills to adapt rapidly to technological and economic change. The article has two main goals. First, it explains the conceptual meanings of lifelong learning, its evolution stages, and how it has been integrated into European and international policies and strategies. Second, it uses data from the ‘Adult Education Survey’ (AES), available through the Eurostat Data Browser platform, to explore Romania’s situation in terms of lifelong learning compared to other European Union countries and analyze data trends in adult education and lifelong learning from 2007 until 2022.
