Reduced-Order <i>H</i>_∞ Filter Design for Singular Fractional-Order Systems

Abstract

This paper investigates the problem of reduced-order H∞ filter design for singular fractional-order systems with order 0α1. It provides necessary and sufficient conditions for designs of both reduced-order H∞ filters and zeroth-order H∞ filters. When reduced to special cases, the present results are shown to include those in recent works as special cases. Illustrative examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the results.
