Esophageal duplication cyst: Two cases presenting as recurrent chest infection and stridor
Abstract
Esophageal Duplication Cyst is a very rare congenital anomaly. It is difficult to diagnose and is usually picked up accidently when a patient is being evaluated for any other problem. It may however present sometimes with respiratory distress and feeding difficulty. With reference to our two cases, we are reviewing this rare congenital malformation affecting the children who presented to us with main symptom of recurrent chest infection and stridor.
