Nontuberculous mycobacteria: modern possibilities of species identification

Abstract

The paper presents up-to-date review on existing methods of identification of nontuberculous mycobacteria. The advantages and limitations of the use of different identification methods in the real practice in specialized TB laboratories and general bacteriological laboratories are considered.
