Famous but destroyed.On the vicissitudes of living in a community with an uncertain future

Abstract

Within a wider research program, I analyzed the RM controversy, mani- festing at societal level, in terms of a struggle between polemical social representations. These are contrasting interpretations or "forms of truth"about Roşia Montană, purposively created and circulated by social players with a view to action, i.e. to determine the start or the annulment of the mining project.
