The non-profit principle and the circulation of spanish provided oocytes in the EU

Half of the oocytes circulating in Europe come from Spanish, according to anthropological and sociological studies. We are therefore concerned about the requirements of its regulation, especially those derived from the non-profit principle. This principle is explicitly stated in a single moment, namely, the donation of oocytes. The EU and national rules do not specify what should be done with oocytes when they are exported or given away, and this would go against the principle of non-profit. Hence, we propose legislation that adheres to the prerequisites of the non-profit principle
