DESENVOLVIMENTO, INSTRUMENTALIZAÇÃO DO SABER E GOVERNAMENTALIDADE
Abstract
The objective of this work (with empirical theoretical orientation) is to demonstrate the maintenance of a pro-development agenda that reissues the 'old' agenda of the past. In spite of the historical and political discontinuities that separate the 1940s and the first decade of the 21st century, the instrumentalization of knowledge is the link between the present and the recent past. The trajectory of the young city of Volta Redonda / RJ allows us to think about the subjective and sub-subjective aspects that involve the notions of development that we share, and with which public policies must deal to produce their own governability today. This article, the result of qualitative research, seeks to reveal the imbricated relationship between development, instrumentalization of knowledge and governamentality.
