Human isolates have been known since the 15th century, due to geographic conditions, far from communications, or within communities, through the existence of ethnic minorities selected on an ethnic, religious or social basis, married only among themselves, indifferent the degree of kinship. These conditions have led to the emergence of recessive pathologies, after several generations, or even to the disappearance of such isolates by the emergence of infectious-infectious diseases on the ground of immunological fragility. Generally, the small number of ancestors - who, in the next 4-5 generations, continues to practice marriages with related persons - leads to the emergence of dominant diseases. Some examples of human isolates in Banat are described in the article. When discovering a generalized pathology, the family doctor needs to know the family history for at least 3 generations, and then monitor these people by giving them counseling and genetic counseling.
