APRESENTAÇÃO DO DOSSIÊ “TRABALHO E RESISTÊNCIA: organização e luta dos trabalhadores da educação em tempos de avanço da nova direita”

Abstract

The text presents a Dossier that offers the reader an overview of historical and contemporary experiences of organization and resistance of education workers and of the reflections and discussions they raise in different spaces in Latin America in times of advancing the new right. The set of articles that make up the Dossier articulate analyzes of organization and struggle processes at the political and union level of education workers while recovering intervention proposals from educator collectives that also operate in the dispute in the field ofeducational institutions' pedagogical purpose. The Dossier demonstrates that resistance is built both in the field of political organization properly and/or trade union, as in the elaboration of pedagogical proposals, school organization alternatives and/or of teaching group formation itself that confront the hegemonic guidelines and that point to a variety of strategies and forms of struggle.
