A review of low birth weight

Abstract

As the incidence of low birth weight babies in India and the neighbouring areas is very high a review of the causes of LBW was done. The factors responsible have been highlighted, risk factors been identified and some remedial measures suggested. Key Words: LBW - low birth weight, MCH - maternal and child health.
