Abstract

This Promoting Social Justice essay brings attention to public sector death management, especially where equity concerns could arise. Based on interviews with deathcare professionals, some issues can include challenges of death certificates, land use at cemeteries, and coroner versus medical examiner systems. Research questions for future study are included in each section.
