Within a stimulating, value-rich environment, the child’s receptivity is paramount. It can be modelled as early as the preschool age, with the contribution of kindergarten, family, and the community. The article summarizes a proposal of an integrated optional subject of values-based education for the higher grade level. Its achievement falls within the endpoints of pre-school education itself, which envisage the cornerstone underlying the character of the individual in the making.
