A crude oil pipeline is adjacent to or accompanied by various interference sources such as metros,high-speed railways and highvoltage transmission lines, and is subject to severe and complex stray current interference. The on-site embedding piece method was used to monitor the pipeline to ground potential along the pipeline and interference law in detail, and analyze the interference characteristics. Results showed that the entire pipeline was subject to AC/DC mixed interference from various interference sources such as metros,high-speed railways and high-voltage AC transmission lines (HVAC).The 45~56 pile pipe section was subject to static and dynamic AC interference from highvoltage AC transmission lines and high-speed railway lines; The 56~105 pile pipe section and 129~152 pile pipe section were subject to mixed interference of dynamic DC and dynamic AC from metros and high-speed railway lines. The 105~129 pile pipe section was simultaneously affected by mixed interference from metro lines,high-speed railway lines, and high-voltage AC transmission lines.Under the mixed interference of AC and DC,the power-on potential of the pipeline was up to 2.00 V,the power-off potential was up to 0.31 V,and the AC voltage was up to 26.2 V;the AC current density of 7 places was higher than 30 A/m2,and interference protection measurements should be taken.
