The article is devoted to issues related to the relationship between parents and children and Christian upbringing in the context of the Scriptures of the New Testament. Today, this topic is especially relevant, because young parents pay more attention to virtual reality, rather than children; want to teach children what they themselves do not want to learn. Therefore, the first part of the article describes the problems that occur in the Christian family, and in the second part, it is investigated how they can be solved, guided by the invaluable tips described in the Bible. The study reveals that in our time, parents often can not overcome their bad habits, and therefore do not show a decent example to their children. They can not give an example of restraint at the table, but they over-eat; can not show an example how to speak, but quarrel and very often use obscene language; can not cope with their own eyes, and watch whatever they want, and so on. The most surprising thing is that at the same time, all parents want their children to become angels according to their behavior, but the opposite is true, because when children become schoolchildren, and all this increases. The family should be a fortress, a shield that protects the child from the abominable surroundings of the world, because the child can not but contact the world. The task of the parents is to prepare the child for this contact, first of all, with their own personal example. Having worked out the relevant sources, the article states that childhood is a period of spiritual and physical growth of the individual. The task of adults is to help the child to go through this path and to establish himself in the good, remembering that the children first learn not from the word, but from the example of the adults. If parents want to raise up a worthy Christian, they must first of all be the same. Best of all, this is facilitated by common prayer, reading of the Bible, participation in worship. Also, in keeping with the Scriptures, it's worth remembering that children are a gift of God, and children's qualities can be a model for an adult. Parents should constantly take care about their children and teach them the Law of God. Applying punishment is only with love and not to irritate children. Children are commanded to honor their parents and listen to them, and most importantly, everything must happen in love, for "one who loves another fulfills the law" (Romans 13: 8).
