INTRODUCTION: Brucellosis is one of the most common zoonotic infections globally. This study aimed to determine the information level, behaviour,attitude and training needs of dairy farmers about brucellosis. METHODS: There were 66 participants involved in this descriptive study. The data were gathered by using a structured questionnaire that was f lled during face to face interview. Data were evaluated by using SPSS 18 statistics program. RESULTS: A majority of the participants ( 98.5 %) had heard about Brucella and 47 % of the participants were not know that how can prevent for Brucellosis. The analyses of the study population showed that 95.5 % of the participants were by making fresh cheese from raw milk. All of the participants were consuming and/ or selling cheese as fresh and/ or waiting time in brine less than one month. Approximately half of the participants were found with in the past and tenth were not complete the treatment or not treatment of Brucellosis. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: Brucellosis is not a well-known disease among participant. In order to eradicate Brucellosis, generalized education programs particularly dealing with the disease spread and prevention are needed.
