Debenedetti e «L’Unità»: la ‘Verticale’ 1946-47
Abstract
The article focuses on the literary notes ("Verticale") prepared by Giacomo Debenedetti for «L’Unità» in the years 1946-1947, examining them both from the philological side (to attest the degree of reliability of the published texts and to clarify their relationship, on the one hand with the specimens provided by Debenedetti, and on the other with the «manuscripts» from which, as revealed by the author, they were cut out), and from the historical and exegetical side (to attest the specific weight that the «notes» have in the critical path and in the author's intellectual biography).
