Esclarecer o habitus

Abstract

Departing from the work of Pierre Bourdieu, the present paper outlines the genesis of the notion of habitus and provides an overview of some of its key theoretical properties. The paper also briefly explores the main sociological perspectives that have been developed around this notion.
