Veille sanitaire, conservation et restauration du patrimoine mégalithique
Abstract
Megalithic sites find themselves at crossroads of heritage considerations, archaeological, architectural, landscape and tourism approaches, that makes their conservation a complex matter. This means that various professionals are involved to ensure their long-time preservation. Thanks to different examples of alteration observations and a first field training experience in conservation on national megalithic monuments in Carnac and Locmariaquer (Morbihan-Brittany), this article is willing to illustrate the complementarity between curator and conservator professions, within the chain of watch and protection of this millenia heritage.
