MAP ‘WORLD AGRICULTURE’ FOR HIGH SCHOOL

Abstract

The ‘World Agriculture’ map (scale 1:20 000 000) was created as a pilot sample for the new set of maps for higher education institutions. The map reflects modern geography of agriculture (cropping, livestock grazing, aquaculture) and trends of its development. These maps are designed for introductory, general, basic and special university courses of economic geography, geography of agriculture, land resources, etc. Content and design of the ‘World Agriculture’ map corresponds to the joint model of these maps, same as cartographic methods, used for the entire series of maps.
