Nursing care in patients with pelvic egzentereze

Pelvic egzentereza is a surgical procedure that is performed in patients with locally advanced pelvic malignancies. By type can be front, behind and total pelvic egzentereza. After radical surgery in the pelvis opens Wet colostomy, which is a type of urinary and fecal diversion. It is implemented as a palliative procedure for addressing the consequences of radiotherapy. The most common reasons for the implementation of operational procedures are gynecological tumors of origin, rectum, or bladder. Of particular importance is the psychological preparation to patients and families for acceptance of future lifestyle. Nursing education includes a number of interventions that begin from the time of admission of patients to the ward, and aims to self-acceptance permanent stoma. Nursing anamnesis enable as to learned a history of health problems that the patient is facing. Nurse formulate nursing diagnoses and determined collaborative problems. In consultation with the patient forms the health care plan and sets priorities. The plan is being implemented under the supervision of nurse i charge. Adequate communication facilitates the submission and better cooperation between patients, both for the operation and for rehabilitation.
