Analysis of 185 patients operated on from 2000 to 2010 was carried out. Nephrolithiasis was diagnosed in 108 (58,3%). In 45 (24,3%), it was a guiding symptom which caused symptom survey for PHPT. Renal PHPT form accounted for 25%. Staghorn kidney stones were found in 17 (9,1%). Two-sided nephrolithiasis was observed in 15 (8,1%); in 4 patients, it was due to staghorn stones. The analysis revealed a high prevalence of nephrolithiasis in patients with PHPT.
